Couple of Questions?!?!?

So as I sit there last night getting to bust out of another 180 with the best hand a couple of questoins came to mind....

What did I do to you pokerstars?
and
How can I make it up to you?

Seriously though this is the most sickest bad run I have had ever, I just cant seem to win with the best hand no matter how good I put it in. Im winning with the best hand when im against shortstacks but if someone who has me covered is in pot I will usually get drawn out. So far in my 180s stake Im like 5 of 30 ITM with 2 or 3 final tables. This wouldnt be that bad but im not able to win flips at the final tables, like last night had about 30k in chips 6 handed and EP limped, I see TT so I bump it up and EP shoves. I insta called, your really never folding TT 6 handed at a final table. He showed AK, ok so you limp shoved AK 6 handed.....yea great play dude, he hit a K on turn and despite picking up 10 more outs on turn I missed.

I just hope this bad run evens out soon, Gotta go to work will update this later.

Yuck Part II

yea yesturday totally sucked also, got deep in numerous tourneys AGAIN to have me lose a coinflip oh goddie. I put up my next bap a $1200 one that I plan on totally crushing! and today when I get home Im putting up my $500 WSOP bap free for my past investors. Dont feel like writing too much so going to end to for today.

Yuck!

OK so moved all my BAP money back to pokerstars, one of my investors got pissed because I cashed in a 180 that wasn't involved in the BAP. I told them all it was MTT's only but guess they didn't read that part of my add. Had to add some of my own money to the BAP though because I screwed up the rail. I don't mine I NEED to show a profit in this BAP!!

The Coin Flip/Race

You have to win coin flips and races in order to win a tournament, I think yesterday I ran worse then I ever have in my life. The thing is I do not win a lot of coin flips and races, yes I know everyone says that but trust me I really don't. The thing is you really do need to win your fair share of them to be able to sit at that final table and without me winning them lately I have struggled to make it real deep. I have no problem making it deep in tourneys, I'm deep in like almost everyone I enter but once it comes time to take those all in coin flips perflop I get screwed. Now I'm not saying I never win them, Its just when I do win one its usually against a small stack where if I did lose them it wouldn't be a huge dent in my chip stack. Seems like whenever I'm really deep I'm forced to take one with another huge stack and lose.

Going CardDead

This is another problem I have been having is going totally card dead like right before money or right before final table. This happens to me all the time and I'm getting sick of it, it just seems like stars says OK Storm you played a great game and you have been playing 2 hours but now you must leave!

All In Or Fold Poker

this crap is getting real old real fast, every time I raise anything I'm getting these guys just shoving over the top of my races and forcing me to fold KQ, KJ, QT etc. And every time I get sick of it and call they show AA, figures I finally say enough and call and they show AA. I'm bleeding valuable chips here but I cant keep folding away and watching my chip stack get bleeding away.

Summary

I need to play better, I need to concentrate a little bit more. I need to stop worrying so much about profiting from my stakes and just play the game I know I can. I'm better then this!

Long update

this update will be pretty long.

Like I already said I restarted my BAP, playing much better this time. One of my investors had a problem with how I played a hand but I simply explained to him im trying to win and play for the win not skate into the money I think he understands if not I would me more the happy to buy his shares off of him.

Ok so I moved all my BAP money over to FTP, I think the feilds there fit my play style a lot better. I am also keeping track of my bankroll on rolltracker.com which is a great program and if you havent tried it I suggest you do so. I invested all my own money in other people so now im only playing my big BAP and a $4 180 stake I got last night.

I dont really feel like typing up to much but I need to talk about last nights forum vs forum event, we only had 5 in it and they had 12. I got a early chip lead when my AA held up against KJ on a K high flop. After that I used my chips as my weapon and turned super agro, it worked well and I was able to keep stealing. The table let me the only one that would play back at me was Dustin because he knew my style and knew what I was doing. Then this one hand came up I raised with 9h7h and I got 3 callers. Flop came down 6x8xTx and I checked the nuts, Dustin raised and it went shove, shove, and then of course with the nuts I shoved and Dustin called. It was crazy one guy had AT, the other 66 and Dustin KK. Turn and river blanked for everyone and boom I was up to 11k in chips.

We were 4 handed at the final table and it was me, animos, van and one of there players. Let me repeat out of the 5 memebers we had join 3 of us got down to 4 out of the 12 they had join 1 of them made it 4 handed. Van kinda donked off to there player and went out 4th, Animos followed out in 3rd then it was HU. I knew how this player played so I just kept stealing, when this player raised he/she is usually strong so I folded hands a lot. Then got AA there player limped I raised, flope 2 hearts I bet he/she called and Ah on turn and we got it in with me top set and them flush, I didnt catch up and gg me.

The thing that pisses me off is the fact they are like saying in chat OWNED, ummm yea ok top set vs flush yea that really owns me. Other thing that pisses me off is the fact that they are downplaying my players accomplishment. Acting like winning was only thing important not the fact that we were able to take 3 of our 5 players to final table, the fact that 4 handed we had 3 of our 5 players there. The other fact that they say I was soooo lucky, hello I never had all my chips in the middle with the worst hand? yea 97 was cool I flopped straight but ummm the chips went in the middle when I held the nuts? how is that lucky? I made light calls against small stack but ummm its like 400 chip shove into my 10k stack? Lets drop the fact that I ran good and get back to the point that my players freaking ran over the field and that final table we owned. If Van would of held back a little on their player we would of got 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I knew how this player played but couldnt tell Van obviously because that would be cheating.

it just tilts me when other people think winning is the only important thing and not realizing how outnumbered we were and we freaking got 2nd, 3rd and 4th, I think that bigger then the win to be honest.

Ugh I played bad

the title says it all I played soooo bad for 2 straight days.

1st it was my bap, I played soooo bad that I decided that I was going to reset the BAP and start it all over today. I was just playing bad, bottom line thats it. I can not make excuses like bad beats or anything it was just my poor play.

I sat at a 1/2 game yesturday which was a huge mistake, lost like $350 from my $500 I had online for myself. And then I had to ship out like $30 for stakes I promised all and all I think I have $115 for myself. Not to sure what I want to do with my money, I might just stake it all out, good news is Joseph will be shipping me $100 for a winning stake in next couple days.

House Hunting: so my wife, Kyle my son, Dakota my daughter and myself all live around the corner from my mom. Well let me explain how we came to live in Maryland. I was a bad kid, staying out late, not following rules, etc etc etc so my mom sent me to live with my grandfather in Florida. Of course I had no objection to this......HELLO FLORIDA. Well my grandfather was hardley ever home so I just kinda hung out worked various jobs, fast food, telemarketing, carpet cleaning etc etc etc. I dated around and then I found my eventual wife Christina, about a year later I decided to move back to Maryland and Christina and I decided to try our relationship long distance.

Well I feel back into my old habits in Maryland and ended up just leaving Maryland and heading to Florida, I showed up at my wifes doorstep and her mother took me in, her mom was kick ass! She ended up passing away from cancer but she was a great person. Anyway my mom bought a house in Florida and we rented from her, I moved to Maryland AGAIN to get a better job and again she bought a house and we rented from her. Well we were planning on moving back to Florida but we really dont have the moving expensis that are needed so my mom is planning on buying another bigger house for us to move in. So that is were we are now trying to find that perect house.

last couple of day

going to have to update last couple of days here, I ended my $800 BAP which was actually $660 because I didnt play the free tourneys. I was just getting soo sick of running the 180's, I put up another BAP a $1,000 one and it sold out in less then 24 hours. Now I dont know if this is because of my skill or my marketing ability, I think a lot has to do with the later. I made about $400 and some on my BAP and made like another $100 on the cash games so started staking out big time.

I put up 4 stakes for the early doubles, gave 1 to AJ, 1 to ghost and 2 to some other PTP players including Foley. Foley is a trip and I enjoy his posts in S.O. so I had no problem putting him in the early doubles, he went deep in them and lost coinflip in one and the other one im not to sure of. None of my horses cashed, Foley offered me cake which I dont require but im not going to complain. I woke up this morning to check my email and noticed Jake one of my other horses had sent me like $40, Im not to sure what this is for since he didnt cash in what I staked him in. What im guessing is he ran some stuff on his own and shipped me some profit because he felt bad about not cashing which is silly.

Ok so I started my new bap yesturday and by the end of the day I was not pleased at all how I played and because of this I decided to eat the $45 loss and start bap over at 1k. I will start over Saturday and try to concentrate when I play a little more instead of running everything I can get into.

Rebuy Madness

ok so for fun I joined a $2 rebuy on FTP the other day, I started off playing normal but like 30 minutes into It I had lost like every flip or every hand where I was mile ahead.....I tilted. Im not exactly sure how much I spent but a person at the table said 22 rebuys, which is about $88. Now im not sure if he was being serious or not but that is highly possible. I started the 2nd hour with about 8k and chips and I never stopped, I built that chipstack up and up all the way to the final table. I ended up going out 3rd when this dude got his whole chipstack in the middle with KT vs my TT, he spiked a K but good thing is I had some chips left and he went out right before I did. 3rd was good for $70 but still not sure if I made money or not.

RollTracker

I registered for this at Http://www.rolltracker.com but im not sure whats going on I payed for the $5 to get it for 3 months but its still not showing as I paid. Even though I got a email confirming payment on my account still says I havent???? I really hope this isnt a scam because I like the site.

Stars Pwned me last night

OK so I was 3 handed at a final table of a 180 last night, why I argue with these morons and get in verbal wars I will not know. Why cant I just shut up and beat their ass's at the table instead of trying to conduct verbal warfare with them. Well I don't know but my rail birds and I and another dude got into big argument at the table, I ended up calling moderator and got my own chat banned for 6 hours. I didn't remember me saying anything real bad but I guess the moderator found something, this pissed me off and stars got numerous emails from me I was not happy.

Then I was sitting 12/20 in another 180 and a message popped up on the screen, I figured it was stars giving me my chat back so just clicked through. I was sat at at my table and every time I tried to sit back in it wouldn't let me. When I finally read the pop up message it said my play privileges had been revoked.....WTF. So I went to my email and it seems like stars made my stormswa a no play account/no chat account instead of my CardreaperPF one, so I was frantic I was getting blinded down at my table 20th busts, 19th busts still no word from stars. Then 18th busts,17th busts oh yea there is KK wee oh wait I'm still not able to play ARGGGGG.

So finally I get sat back in at 16 left have lost about 20% of my stack and I end up going out 16th when I shove J4 because I think this player is stealing. He wasn't and makes quick and correct call with TT. Later on stars tells me the accounts are sorted out and they have credited my account with $13 for the mix up. I didn't do to well in my doubles and made 1 FT for 3rd in my 180s so it was OK day. A very good player PM'ed me yesterday asking me if I would be willing to coach him in the 180's, I said sure and im putting together a 4 person class now. Gotta go do some work, GL at tables.

Monday, April 14, 2008

I mentioned earlier this week I attempted to go back to TPF, but it seems like I'm just going to be getting some BS flaming from their older users so I doubt I will be back posting again. I offered a stake there and got like 1 or 2 takers so I closed it because I wanted more applying before I gave it out. One of the users there gave me negative REP for this which is such bs seeing as its my money and If I'm not comfortable with the users applying I shouldn't feel bad about giving it out. It has nothing to do with my stake its just he don't like me and will flame me at any given moment.

The thing is I'm a much better tourney player then most of their users, I put up a post the other day asking about how we should play QQ on the button when its folded to us with 11BB stack. The question was asked should we shove or standard raise, I got a couple OK answers from the better player of the forum but one user seriously answered he would raise 75% of his stack and fold if its a bad flop......HELLO are you freaking serious? your going to put 75% of your stack in the middle then FOLD....ummmm OK. So your going to leave yourself with 2.5-3BB stack to try to build off of, that's the most idiotic thing I have ever read in all the forums Ive ever visited. That is like Poker101 stuff there. I also got answers that were quoted from Pro's books, this is another thing I cant stand. Why do you need to do something a pro would do? cant you think for yourself and make you own judgement on the best play. The funny part was the quote he quoted from the book didn't even apply to our question, it was about re stealing pots from LP raisers.

So with that in mind I seriously doubt you will see me back on that forum, most of the good players on there are cash players and I don't play cash. I seriously think I can gain nothing in knowledge from them, on the other hand I plan on spending tons of time on my forum and PTP because both of them have tons of good players. All I can say is GG TPF.

FT Early Double B

ok so I eneded up playing yesturday, my son didnt want to do anything so thought I would play instead. Here is recap of my night.

2 $4 180's: these were so-so, to be honest I need to stop talking at the table I make a fool of myself. For now on im turning off the chat at the table to stop myself. I played the 1st one ok but went out early and the 2nd one I just blew it, I let some bad player tilt me into making bad decisions.

Early double A: I played fine here, got into money and had to shove as shortstack. No complaints here I played standard ABC poker and for that was rewarded $25 or so.

Early double B: I won my fair share of coinflips here so when I went out in 8th with AQ vs J8 I wasnt too mad, I did the classic LOL but other then that just left. I took home about $125 for 8th and made it about a $175+ day with the double cash bonus. Came real close to the $400 last longest bonus but some girl got 11th and 10th, silly here for not just sitting back and double final tabling for like $4k.

Im tired now so going to go do some work, cya.

No playing today

Yesturday: I didnt play my best yesturday so I limited myself to just playing my early doubles and no 180s. Early double A didnt go to well and I was out super early when I got KK in late position and raised a Early position raiser. He cold called my raise which had me real worried and when he shoved overtop my continuation bet on the flop I was sure he had AA but to my suprise he flipped over A9 to just top pair top kicker. I was thrilled because I was going to double up to 4k until of course he hit his A.....urg. B was a little better and I ended up cashing in that, I went out real quick after money bubble burst. I open shoved KT from EP which after looking it over really was not a good play even being shortstacked. My buddie on MSN has this problem of alway trying to "comfort" me saying there is nothing I can do or unlucky. WRONG, I missplayed the hand and that is why I went out had nothing to do with being unlucky, thats the biggest thing about me I go over and over hand and try to figure out what I did wrong after I bust out. Truth is I should of just mucked this hand in EP and waited a couple hand till I had better position, live and learn.

Today: no playing today, gonna spend time with family.

Saturday, April 12, 2008

Ok I will be playing when I get home, I will be playing my early doubles at 4pm and I will play as many 180's as time allows not opening too many at once of course. Will post later or tomorrow about the restults.

Todays update

I will get into how yesturday ran in a minute but 1st I want to give some other updates, 1st thing I want to talk about is sample sizes. I have run into a lot of player in last couple days that get frustrated when they dont win a tourney. It seems players have this idea that they are supposed to go deep in every tourney they play in, this is stupid. In poker its all about sample size, your ROI can not be determined on 50 tourneys, you need to play about 500 or more before you can really judge how your doing. This is the reason when I stake someone I do a series stake of at least 10 games. For instance I staked Dr. Gutshot and he went like 0-6 right away, was I worried? hell no I knew and do know that he is a good consistant player and given the right amount of games he will show profit everytime.

The other thing I want to talk about is another poker forum, TPF or talkingpoker.com was my 1st real poker forum I was a member of. Now im not going to lie when I 1st started playing poker I was a complete donkey and I was for a long time. It wasnt until recently that I tried to improve my game, now yesturday I went to this forum after being gone for months and told the forum I would like to be more of a contributing member. I knew when I made this post I was opening myself up for tons of flaming and their owner/admin allows that kinda shit. Now a lot of the flaming is well deserved because I was complete moron back in my TPF days but things change and so have I, I dont look at poker as just a recreation anymore but a way to make a good amount of money on the side. Whatever happens over there im happy with, I would like to be a contribuing member but if not there are tons of other outlets out there.

OK on to yesturday.

I didnt plan on playing a lot yesturday but I did play my early doubles and 3 $4 180s, I final tabled one of my 180s and went kinda deep in the doubles. Nothing exciting happened in the 180s so I will just skip to the doubles.

Im not positvie if I went deep in A or B so for sake of argument we will say I busted A and went deep in B.

Double A - Nothing much happened in this one, was card dead most of the time and when I finally did get my chips in the middle with JJ someone had KQ and hit. Went out kinda early in 2nd hour in that one.

Double B - This one I actually managed to build to about 3k - 4k before the break then went card dead until I picked up QQ. EP raised and think I either re-raised or shoved not sure. Anyway we got it all in preflop I believe and he showed KK, this sucked obviously but the Q on the river saved me. We got down to about 80 or so people and I raised middle position with KQ and got the Big Blind to call me. Flop was A high and I checked and so did big blind, at this point I had no clue what he had and I was shortstacked so any raise would of commited me. Turn was J giving me gutshot, the big blind bet minimum and I called, I should of just folded here seeing I was so short. River blanked and again he bet minimum and my silly self shoved and he timed down and called with J2. Should of never bluffed here I think it was obvious what I had!

How I feel about BAP

I feel really good about this BAP so far, I have been able to pretty much crush the 180's so far. Out of the 15 I have played I have cashed like 8 of them including like 5 final tables. Which in those 5 final tables I have managed two seconds and a win. As for the doubles the 1st day I ran them I double cashed and second time I cashed one of them, again I'm very pleased how I have been playing. I want to talk about a couple things while I have you all here.

Patience: I can not stress enough the importance of patience in these tourneys, yesterday in my doubles I think I played maybe 1 hand before the break and at the break I had stack of 1500 which was almost exactly 10bb's. Obviously this does not put me in a comfortable spot but if you arnt getting the cards then your not getting the cards. Start of 2nd hour I managed to double up with AA vs some random hand. I cant talk about this point enough because it is needed even in blinds that go up at this rate you still don't need to be calling with KJ OOP.

Hand Selection: I have a lot of friends online that freaking LOVE suited connectors but I don't, I think they are a waste to be honest. Lots of friends use the excuse that hey I will limp with 20 chips and if I'm raised I will fold. Well guess what 90% of the time your getting raised and that means you are throwing 20 chips away a lot here. If you do this 20 times limp folding I mean that is 200 chips and that represents about 17.5% of your stack. When you need fold equity later on that 17.5% could be needed. So lets go into specific hands here.

Hand selection in beginning stages
  • High Pocket Pairs: I run all my high pocket pairs hard and fast there is no reason in these games to try to hide the strength of your hands. You will get paid off with 2nd,and 3rd pair and sometimes ace high.
  • suited connectors: I discussed these in above.
  • AK/AQ: I kinda play these 2 the same way I re-raise if someone opens, and I open if folded to. In early position I raise and if re raised I usually will muck the AQ but the AK I will call to see flop the proceed depending on flop texture.
  • All trouble hands: I consider all trouble hands like KJ, KQ, AJ, etc all those hands that could flop you top pair but could put you miles behind, these hands I'm usually opening if folded to or people limp or I fold to raises. I should never have to decide to call out of position with these hands because I'm never calling a re-raise with them.
  • Small pairs: I like to see a flop with all small pairs because if you hit a set you will usually stack the player. Try to see all flops but don't overpay for them.

I will discuss middle and later stages at another time but I think later stages are more about your stack size and blinds then your hand.

April 11th recap

Yesturday was great made 2 final tables and cashed about 4 or5 times, my horses didn't do to well though. AJ bombed out, sonny bombed out, BUT Dr.Gutshot did take a 4th for $50 some so I'm free rolling my last couple games with him. No matter what happens I will be re staking him for at least $44, so lets talk about my days. Going to have to go back to the 10th it seems also.

The 10th

This day was good to me I made 2 final tables at the same time to take 2nd in them both for $144 a piece, made couple other final tables but these were the main ones. Funny part is the dude in the one HU asked me if I wanted to chop. Now I have chopped the 180s before but after that I decided that there is no way I'm chopping a 180 again, you gain $35 or so from chopping a 180 and I think you lose a ton of equity that way. Its not like we are playing for thousands here it freaking $35 when if you don't chop you can win the difference between $144 and $216 which would be $70. My investors were in the lobby, would of been better if I beat him but I played bad HU and called his all in with my Ax when he had JJ and he held up. In the other one I had TP with AJ but my opponent made his gutshot on the turn.

The 11th

Made 2 final tables this day, I took a 4th place in the morning and later on in the night I went into a very tough final table. These player except for 1 seemed like it was their 1st final table, the were raising to 7500 in the 600/1200 level which is just silly. No one wanted to play post flop, one of my favorite plays was when someone raised to 10k with a 15k stack, plus one guy kept shoving light and doubling up through luck. Well anyway after the 1st orbit I tightened up and just tried to hang around and let the crazy play eliminate some people. When we got about 5 handed and the player I knew was good was out I hit a string of hands and took out the last 4 people, I went from a stack of 25k to a stack of 150k. When we were HU I raised 1st hand and the guy shoved on me, I told him not to be afraid to play me post flop and he seemed to calm down a little bit. Well he chipped up on me and took the lead on a bunch of missed flops, I got a K6 on a 256 flop and got it all in, it took me all of a second to call his shove after I cbet. He showed 78 which is about the best I expected him to have, he blanked turn and river and I had a HUGE lead. Next hand we got it in preflop with me having JT vs his Kx, the K on the flop sucked but the river Q for my straight was great. So I made some good money these last 2 days for my investors.

Right now my bap is about $1300 give or take which isn't bad seeing as the actual investment is only $660, the beginning BR is $800 but that's because I added $140 to it.

April 8th update

ok so started my Bap yesturday, here is how it went.

played 3 $4 180's, went out pretty early in 2 of them and in the 3rd one got real lucky with AK vs KK when I made a flush. I went on to take 8th in that one when my AK lost to AJ all in preflop, so all together ended up about $5 in the bap through those games.

Also played my 1st of 30 doubles on FTP for the bap, these I played very very well and never had my chips in behind. Built up very nice stacks in both but then my AA ran into JJ all in preflop. He flopped quads and I was crippled, ended up going out of both but made about $50 for the bap with the double cash.

Staked AJ in a 5 game series but he ran into some big hands late and ended up not cashing in any of them. Hoss sent me his profit so I made some money off him, Sonny is still playing his series and Dr.Gutshot played 2 more games and got unlucky when his 2 pair ran into set.

Great day for me yesturday but bad day for my horses.

Monday April 7th summary

Yesterday was looking so good to have it just ripped away from me, let me go horse by horse here. I put up a 3x $4 180s stake last night on http://www.parttimepoker.com/ I gave 2 of them to friends online that I knew were good players, also Dr.Gutshot ran his 1st in a series of 10 for me.

Poker_1ab= Sorry if I misspelled your name, to be honest I was not happy with this player at 1st. He let himself get blinded down to about 300 chips in the 75/150 level, obviously this is not good to let yourself get blinded to 2bb stack. Maybe he just wasn't getting cards but you need to start pushing at that 10bb range but its OK. He ended up pushing his 2bb stack with a hand like J8 and double up, then he shoved some Ax hand and again doubled up. He then got it in with AKvsAQ and from 300 chips was sitting on about 4k, next thing I knew he had like 15k or so. I was amazed, then this real silly hand happened, some dude either raised or shoved and my horse called or re shoved with KdKx and found he was facing JJ. The flop was great putting 3 diamonds on the board and making the JJ drawing to 1 out. Freaking Js on the river caused a horrible beat and took my horse from his huge stack to 8k, thing is if he wins that hand he is at 30k with only about 30 some left and well on his way to a final table. He ended up getting blinded down and going out in 18th, in the money but obviously not what we wanted. I will stake him again though.

Slowburn= Slowburn is a good online friend of mine, great player BUT his biggest problem is his lack of patience in these small stakes. He tries to outplay and bluff obvious calling stations and at this limit that is very bad idea. He got kinda low on chips but with his style that don't matter because he is so active he will get them back, again he was super deep with a huge stack. He ended up getting it in the 99vs77 and as usual the 77 wins because 77 is a amazing hand and is my favorite. That hand hurt him bad but didn't knock him out, the player with 77 started talking shit to slowburn which is kinda dumb seeing as that player just totally sucked out on him. The player open shoved AJ in EP/MP and dared slowburn to call his shove. This made me worry that slowburn would call this player down light because he was upset about the suck out, when slowburn called I just rolled my eyes until I saw that he called with QQ. I was thrilled he got it in so good and the flop was great with no ace and really no big draw. Freaking A on the turn kinda made me fall over, and slowburn got no help on river and was out. Then the player still was talking shit like he/she played so well when in fact just got lucky.....real lucky to still be playing. The player challenged Slowburn to a cash game and of course he accepted but by time I went to bed they still had not played, usually players do this, make challenges then hurry and retreat when accepted.

AJ= Aj is a funny guy, I cant really get a read on this player. I think he has amazing skills as a player but poker is pure fun for him and he plays just for fun. I think if he applied himself more he could be amazing player, AJ just played great lost some coin flips later on but made a amazing call with QQ on a KTx board against someone bluffing A4 high, I was amazed of his play and had to go to sleep before I could watch him finish but he finished 13th for yet another cash. I plan on setting up a 3 game series for him when I get home, keep kicking butt AJ.

Dr.Gutshot= This player I want to talk about a little before I go into his game, I think he is amazing 180 player, has great patience but his lack of self confidence and his inability to get past losing flips and bad beats has me worried. The thing is bad beats will happen and if you let them get to you then you will destroy your self confidence, anyway to his game. He was totally kicking it then he got his AA busted by A7, yea that's bad but if you let it get to you then your whole game is destroyed, he did good rebuilding and got it in 3way as shortstack with AQvsAJvsQJ which gave him about 4k in chips. Then a little while later he had AK in LP with a EP shover, he obviously called and one person behind him called, the EP dude had AK, he had AK obv but the guy behind him woke up with AA. Nothing he could do here and even though he got a nice flop of TQx no gutshot save for him. Keep playing good sir you still have 9 games!

Training class: I talked to a guy named Hersh last night on PTP to try to schedule a training course for me. I like this player a lot he is amazing poker player and I want to learn as much as I can from him, he offers private classes for $60 or groups ones for $20. I requested a private class because I fell I could learn a lot from him seeing as his results speak for themselves.

My mom: Today is my mom's birthday so I doubt I will be able to start my BAP today, tomorrow I'm working some overtime so I might play some 180s in the morning but that's it.

Well I'm off till later cya.

OK so Sonny finished his 13x stake today up a couple bucks, nice job Sonny so sent him another $15.60 to do it again. If he keeps showing results it could make us both a nice profit and its helping my SP big time, also have $44 out to Dr.Gutshot and $10 heeb for Hoss. Hoss is up right now so he should show profit.

My BAP is almost ready to play out I got all my payments but one and if he don't pay by tomorrow when I get home I will start without him or her if your a her sorry. I'm feeling real good about this BAP, I'm playing great and feel my tourney game is improving every day.

Intro

Hey I decided to start this blog to keep track of all my stakes that I'm playing and the ones that I'm giving out on a daily basis. Guess a intro would be in order in case you don't know who I'am.

My names Brian and I own a website and currently just play stakes for other people, it didn't start out this way I struggled a lot in poker when I 1st started out. I went though the horrible runs over and over and I think it helped me a lot to eliminate the emotion from my game. Now people still cry to me all the time about hey I run bad here and I run bad there and my normal response is "join another one" that is the only way to work through your bad runs. I don't suggest stopping for the night because I don't feel that helps you in the long run, of course it means you wont run bad anymore that night but if you play through your bad run it improves you as a player. I also don't believe on blaming you losing on bad beats, honestly when my friends try to tell me a bad beat I cut them off and say give me a $1. At 1st this confused them but now they realize that is what I charge just for listening to a bad beat story.

like take this for instance this hand came up 9 handed at a final table of a $4 180, I was in Big blind with 3-4 and flop came down 338. I was on messenger with my Buddie and told him "UT OH" and "this could get ugly" he replied with no dude your good. Something just wasn't right when I raised OOP on flop I got 3 callers and I really thought I could be behind. Well I lead out turn and committed myself, this was a play mistake right here. I should of checked and then evaluated what to do, I would most likely of folded to any bet but instead I went broke there. I joined 2 more 180s and took 5th in one of them. This is what I mean by playing through your bad runs, I ran bad made some mistakes and went out 9th and turned back around and took 5th.

Think I will end my little intro here you will get to know me more as blog progresses.
